Travel Solutions International (TSI) has recently added a number of new partners globally reaching extended markets in Latin America, Europe and the Middle East.
Four agencies have recently joined TSI to represent the global network in their local markets of France (Corpovia), Qatar (Space Travel WLL), Argentina (Rotamund SRL) and Colombia (Optima SA). TSI board member Mervyn Williamson (TSI UK) said “Each market has seen considerable growth in business travel and we are delighted to gain experts in these countries who will represent the interests of TSI on a global basis. In addition, Corpovia have developed a unique online booking solution which gives our mutual clients the opportunity to achieve required cost savings”.
TSI’s network continues to grow globally with new agencies being introduced on a regular basis. The companies involved in the TSI group work closely together to achieve their common goal: to build a strong network with good communication between countries, providing a premium travel service to clients, using expert local market knowledge with best-in-market technology and solutions. |

TSI UK, Statesman Travel Group recently announced that it has acquired rival TMC, Commodore International Travel.
The enlarged group will become a ‘top 10’ UK travel management company in terms of transactional volume, with revenues of circa £100 million and a staff of 150 people. London remains the major centre for the business, supported by its regional office in Manchester.
The Business Growth Fund, which has been established to invest in Britain's fast growing smaller and medium sized businesses, has supported this acquisition. It will take a minority stake in Statesman and will sit on the board alongside the current management team, led by Mervyn Williamson and Jon Langley.
TSI UK is known for its high levels of service and for seeking out and applying innovative solutions to set the industry standard in delivery. In tough market conditions, TSI UK has increased sales by well over 50% since its acquisition in July 2007. This has been achieved through working in close partnership with its blue chip customer base, which includes strong representation from the financial services, professional services, property and media sectors.
Mervyn Williamson, Joint Managing Director of TSI UK and Advisory Board Director of TSI, commented: “We are committed to ensuring continuity and will be harnessing the benefits of the enlarged group for our clients. Customer service remains absolutely key to what we do.” |
