Statesman Travel was established in 1975 and is one of the few privately owned ‘mid-size’ travel management companies in the United Kingdom. Mervyn Williamson and Jon Langley, who have an impressive record in the field of travel management as former owners of the Phoenix Travel Group, acquired the company in July 2007. With a highly experienced team at the helm, Statesman has a new and fresh approach to travel management. We also have the expertise and credibility, both nationally and internationally, to supply the innovation and sophistication that will accommodate the most demanding and knowledgeable of clients.

In December 2007, the company moved its headquarters to a newly refurbished ‘state of the art’ travel centre at 12 Gough Square, just north of Fleet Street in the centre of London where we employ in excess of 60 people. Statesman has an excellent and well-deserved reputation for innovation and service along with an enviable list of high profile clients. Our management team has a unique level of experience and expertise in the field of creating true travel partnerships, where good pro-active and efficient service is successfully blended with total financial transparency.

In the recently published survey of the U.K.’s leading travel management companies by Business Travel World’s magazine for corporate travel buyers, Statesman is regarded as being in the top 20.
